You ask any typical two year old their favorite show and you are most likely going to get Dora, Diego, Blues Clues, Sesame Street, or Backyardigans. Not Braden...His most favorite thing to watch in the whole world is Wheel of Fortune! He loves to shout out the letters when they show up on the board. And when someone messes up or lands on the bankrupt, he throws up his hands and yells “Oh NO!” But when someone solves a puzzle he claps his hands and starts jumping all around. It is so funny, I just love watching him watch Wheel of Fortune!!
Last weekend Tom found the recipe for Cafe Rio's pulled pork. He did an awesome job! We even made the rice, beans, and cilantro ranch! It was SO YUMMY!!

Braden's Big Boy Bed & Bye Bye Binkie
YAY! I have finally finished Braden's bed!! I just LOVE it! I found everything(except the mattress pad) on craigslist!! It is the greatest site EVER! I haven't ever bought anything there before, but I found the best stuff and all for a great deal! I got the captains bed, Pottery Barn bedding and curtains, a twin mattress, and a bed rail for $175! If I would have bought this at the store it would have been over $600!! Best of all, Braden has finally given up his pacifier. I know, it should have happened a long time ago, but I am such a sucker. Here are some pics of Braden's first night in his new bed- he look so little in that big bed...

The Man Rules
I haven't had anything to post in a while, so I thought I would share this hilarious email I got the other day...
The Man Rules
At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down.
We always hear 'the rules' from the female side ...Now here are the rules from the male side.
Please note.. these are all numbered '1' ON PURPOSE!
1. Men are NOT mind readers.
1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.
1. Sunday sports It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.
1. Crying is blackmail.
1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one:
Subtle hints do not work!
Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work!
Just say it!
1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.
1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 Days.
1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.
1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.
1. You can either ask us to do something Or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
1. Whenever possible, Please say whatever you have to say during commercials..
1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.
1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.
1. If it itches, it will be scratched...We do that.
1. If we ask what is wrong and you say 'nothing,' We will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, Expect an answer you don't want to hear.
1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine...Really.
1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as baseball or motor sports
1. You have enough clothes.
1. You have too many shoes.
1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape!
Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight;
But did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping.

New Years Day in Queen Valley
Happy New Year!!! Because we all had the day off yesterday, we headed to Queen Valley with the Garlocks. It was a BLAST and so nice out!! We played mexican train (chicken foot), rode the fourwheelers, made a fire, and ate chili and smores! What a great way to start the new year!!
Don't worry I'm not letting my 2 year old ride the quad quite yet, he just had fun sitting on it pretending...

More Layouts and a Christmas Tag
Since Tom ditched us and went to Portland, I have had some time on my hands to finish off the Christmas pictures I had. He was suppose to be home tonight, but there is horrible weather in the northwest and his flight was cancelled:( I am so sad, but I am just hoping he gets a flight before Christmas Eve...Thank goodness for his Aunt Debbie and his cousins, or I would be going crazy. They are so nice to include me in their family:)
So here are some layouts-
These are all the snowmen I have accumulated over the last couple years. They are my favorite!

And now here is a cute Christmas Tag I found on my cousins blog...

18. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Oh, I don't think anything is- I love it!

The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
I really should have just stayed in bed yesterday. Braden woke up at 3 am puking. In the morning he ate his breakfast just fine and he seemed to be doing better so I thought it was just something he ate. I decided to take him to the gym...Bad idea. The minute I walked in he puked all over me. We came home and he crashed. Again, when he woke up he was just fine. I decided to keep my doctors apt and dropped Braden off at Tom's cousin Brooke's house. When I got back we hung out and had dinner until about 8 pm because our husbands were in Tempe hanging Christmas lights. I was in a rush to get home and when I strapped Braden into his car seat I threw the keys in the front seat. Somehow it hit the lock button and I didn't realize it until it was too late. Braden was locked in the car!! This is my worst nightmare, I totally panicked! I ran back into Brooke's house to see if I could drive her car to my house to get the spare key, but then I realized my house was locked and the garage door opener and house key were in the car!! I had no choice but to call 911. They first sent over a policeman, but he had no tools to do anything. In the meantime I called our insurance company to send roadside assistance. The closest person they had was over 30 min away. Then the firemen showed up and did what they could, but BMW's are locked up tight! After about 35 minutes Braden threw up, so they sent for an ambulance. I told them he was sick, but he wanted to think there was something more wrong. I felt so helpless and sad for him. This was all my stupid fault! They were just about to break the window when the locksmith finally showed up. It took him about 10 minutes, but he got it! I was so relieved. Braden was pretty upset, but he was mostly just exhausted. They checked him out and said he was good to go, they even gave him his own fireman's hat. He fell asleep in my arms five minutes later. It all sucked pretty bad, but it could have been so much worse. I am so glad it wasn't summer and that they didn't have to break a window. I just gotta thank Brooke for staying with me and keeping me calm. And for taking the pictures even though they were laughing at her:) So yeah- that was my day... I definitely learned my lesson and won't be letting that happen again!

Give Thanks
Sorry for the late blog post....I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We sure did!! We headed to St. George last Monday and got home last night. My grandparents have a house there and it is a great meeting point for all my family from Rexburg. We were so busy eating, shopping, going to the movies, eating, going to the Temple, eating, going on walks, did I mention eating... I feel like that's all I did. There was also a LOT of shopping, I love all the outlets and who doesn't love Tai Pan?? It was so much fun and I am so thankful for the chance to spend time with my family. I don't know why, but I am having a really hard time remembering to take pictures. I only got one of Braden eating Thanksgiving dinner. It is so cute though, I made two pages...
