Snow Much Fun!

Braden loved staying in Rexburg this winter. Walk out the door to the backyard and there is hours of fun waiting for him!! Although I usually spent more time getting him dressed and undressed then he even spent playing out in the cold :) So then he would come in and enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate...
Oh, what a cutie!!

Braden's Dental Operation

Braden had some cavities to get filled and they thought it would be best to put him under to make the whole process a bit easier. Since it is at an outpatient surgery place it will hopefully make it so he is not afraid to go to the dentist  :) He had to fast from midnight until 2pm the next day! He was a trooper, but did sneak a cheeto he found on the car floor, lol. He was really brave and when they wheeled him back, I was the only one in tears. It was terrifying- and it was only a dental surgery! I can't imagine how hard it must be for parents to have to deal with putting their kids under real surgery. He was a trooper going in, but when he woke up, it was another story. He was coughing up blood everywhere and was so miserable. It was pretty scary, but the doctor said everything went great and he just needed some time to come out of the anesthesia. We got him home and made him a bed on the couch. It was almost 5pm, and he was STARVING! He ate like 3 whole meals in one sitting! Then we vegged out and watched movies together. We have been very diligent in brushing his teeth, because we definitely don't want to have to go through that again!

Oh My Heck!!

The title really says it all :) This girl is just too cute!!! Here she is at my grandparents home in Gilbert, AZ pushing her baby 'Bella' with her purse on the handle. She is such a GIRL!! And I love her to pieces!!

My New Scrap Blog!!!

Hey everyone!!! I hope I still have a few readers out there since I fell off the blog wagon :) I just wanted to let you all know about my brand spankin' new scrap blog-
I have decided to take my scraps to another level with it's very own blog!! I am still going to be posting all of my layouts on my personal blog, but I wanted a blog focused solely on scrapping! I am part of 5 creative teams (CT's) all of which I adore!!! For those of you who don't know what that means...Well basically the Designers create the digital kits/templates and I use their products to make my layouts so they can use it for advertising purposes. In exchange, I get all of their beautiful kits for free. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me :) You can find all of the CT's I design for on my sidebar which link to each of their stores. Each week I will be posted the layouts I create and the credits, along with lots of other sales and promotions from each of the Designers! Sounds fun, right?!? If you would, please click my header to check it out and then click the followers gadget on the sidebar. I would truly appreciate any support I can get on this. Thanks so much!! I hope you are all having a wonderful day!!

We had so much fun this Christmas! We went to my parents Ward Christmas party and enjoyed the activities there! Of course delicious food, a Christmas program and not to forget.....

SANTA!!!! The kids were so thrilled to get to sit on Santa's lap.

Braden even wrote his own little letter that he gave to him:
It says,

Dear Santa. Thomas the Train, Percy, James, Salty (which are the names of some of the trains) Love, Braden

So stinkin' cute- I love it!!!
And here they are Christmas morning (well, afternoon...we had church at 11am) opening their presents. Braden's got his wish and opened 99.99% Thomas related gifts(even Thomas underwear) and Brooklyn was spoiled with lots of fun girly things including fake make-up and a little dolly she named Bella. What a fun year!!

Braden's 5th Birthday Party!!

HI!! It has taken me longer than I thought to get back, but it is for a good reason :) I was trying to get all caught up on my photos and then add them all at once. But I decided that was too overwhelming!! I am going to start at the first and try to post every few days until I can get caught up. So here goes!!!

My baby boy is 5 years old!!! It is so hard to believe. People always tell me how fast time goes by once you start having kids and they are totally right!! It feel just like yesterday that I was holding my 7 pound baby boy in my arms. It makes me sad to think how fast it goes, but I am so blessed to have such a wonderful boy in my life. He has really grown up to be my little helper. He loves to put the silverware away, feed the dogs, let the dogs out to go potty, and grab things that I ask him get :) He is obsessed with riding his bike and will ride it any chance he gets! He also loves his scooter, Thomas the train set, anything to do with the movie Cars, and his latest fav is Spider-man and other superheroes! I just love my little boy! Here are the pages from his fun birthday party. Journaling reads:

You had such a fun birthday this year! We got to spend it in Idaho, with grandma and grandpa Bateman. We went to the hay maze and invited all of your friends to come! We went to the petting zoo and then tried out the hay maze. You cheated and climbed on top :) Then we went under the canopy and opened your presents and had yummy spider cakes. It was such a fun day! Love you so much!!
