Our New Home and Some Good Times

So much has happened since my last post. It has been cRaZy!! On May 30th we moved out of our home in Copper Basin and moved about 20 minutes north to a community called San Tan Heights. It is closer to Tom's work and pretty much everything else. I absolutely love the neighborhood. It has big parks and a walkway with awesome landscaping and a beautiful view of the mountains. The house is almost 2,000 sq ft (that's 700 ft bigger than our last house) and it is built with so many great upgrades. My favorite things are the 10 ft ceilings, all the little decorative details, the island in the kitchen, the tile floors, the fireplace, the double sinks in the master bath, the big new tub, all the walk-in closets, the double doors into the master bedroom, and the huge playroom in the front for the kiddies! I am just so thrilled with our new home!!

Then last weekend Tom's brother Grant, his dad Rick and his wife Debbie came for a visit. On Friday we took the boat out for our first lake trip of the summer. The Garlocks are so great to take us! It was a good time with lots of tubing, wakeboarding and yummy Subway sandwiches!
Afterwards we came back to our house and Tom grilled steak and shrimp tacos with homemade salsa!

On Saturday we all met at the Garlocks for a pizza pool party.
Then we all headed home to put the kids down for naps then went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.

Sunday was Brooklyn's Blessing Day. It was a really special day! We decided to bless her at our Copper Basin ward at 8 am. Since it was so early I didn't really think any of the Mesa Peeps would come, but they love us so much they made trek. It was so cool to see all the guys I love bless my baby girl.

Afterwards we all came back to our new house for breakfast casserole with strawberry and blueberry crapes! The picture with all the family is only like half the people who came. It was such a great turnout and I am so thankful to all those who could make it and celebrate the beautiful blessing. (We missed you mom and dad!!) Her blessing dress is almost 50 years old! My mom was blessed in it and so was my sister and I and even some of my cousins! I thought it was really neat. It had a lot of little details and the material was so soft.

It was a great weekend and we can't wait to have you guys back soon!
