Ever since Braden was born we have had nicknames for him and almost all of them have stuck. I don't know where they came from, they are so random:) For some reason most of them are spanish or chinese:) Carlos is from his Grandpa Garlock. Haha, poor kid!

Blog SLACKER!
Yes, I am still alive! So sorry it has been so long.... It has just been one thing after another! Lake Powell was a BLAST, but so draining! I crashed for like 3 days after we got back. Then we lost our internet because we got a land-line and the cox guy messed up our internet connection. Then my cordless mouse broke and I hate using the touchpad to scrapbook! After all that I finally gave in and just as I was finishing a layout, my computer started tweaking out and I lost everything! SO FRUSTRATING! I have been on strike against my computer for the last week. BUT, I am over it now and I really missed doing it... This is what I have done today. I have TONS more to do, but here is a preview of our trip to Powell-

Angle Template Challenge
I have had some people asking about the Scrap Matters template challenges and thought I would answer some questions. Every Tuesday on their blog a person from their team comes up with a template and theme that you must use to play. After you are done you go to their website and upload your entry as well as the credits to their gallery. Then go to their Tuesday Template Forum and post the link of your layout. I like it because they don't require you to use their products to play along. It is so much fun and if you win, you get a $5 Giftcard to use in their shop! This weeks challenge is to scrap about a special day, here is the template-

Husband Humor
I thought this was pretty funny and wanted to share....it's all in good fun!!!
{Installing a Husband}
Dear Tech Support, Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance -- particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?
Signed, Desperate
Dear Desperate, First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter the command: 'I Thought You Loved Me.exe' and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, over use of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources).Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Food 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Floating, Napping, & Playing
On Saturday we went to Mesa to swim in Aunt Debbie's (aka Grandma's) pool. The water is like bath water now and Braden had a BLAST! I was so nervous though, he just wanted to swim and kick by himself (typical 1 1/2 year old). After a couple hours he was so tired and his eyes were red, we had to MAKE him get out and he didn't like that at all.
